Magical words

When we were young we were thought of two magical words, which can make someone feel that they are cared for and they are important. But as we grew up the ego in us also grew making us forget how important and essential these magical words were.

The magical words which I am talking about are “Sorry” and “Thank you”. Sorry is said when we cause inconvenience to someone and Thank you is said whenever get a favor. The inconvenience need not be as big as killing a person or the favor need not be something as big as giving a suite case full of money.

In our day to day life there is someone to whom we are causing inconvenience and there is someone who is doing us a favor. Often, we forget to express our gratitude or regret to them.
We keep our bedroom untidy, creating a complete mess. Its our Mother who clears this mess and keeps everything in its place. Have we ever asked her Sorry for all the troubles which we have caused?

We have our bus drivers who drive safely to our destination everyday, have we ever stopped by to say thank you to them? We have our house keeping team who make sure our cubicles are clean and the facilities we make use is hygiene. They serve us with a smile not once being grumpy. Did we ever think of showing our appreciation to them?

Similar to the ones mentioned above we come across many minute favors and troubles. We all know how an unanticipated sorry or an unexpected thank you goes a long way. Sometimes, they make a day for someone; sometimes, they redefine your attitude towards that person.

It becomes important for us to use these magical words even for the smallest of things. These magical words have the power to melt people and bring a smile on their face. But it works only when told from heart and when you really mean it. Never overlook these things and become too ignorant, it at least makes someone smile even in their rush hour.
